Podiatry WHAT IS IT?

Podiatry (previously called Chiropody) is the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the foot.

Treatments are offered for common pathologies of the foot such as:
Corns
Callus
Verrucae
Ingrowing toenails
Thickened and problem nails which are difficult to cut at home
Cracked heels
Orthoses can also be provided for conditions such as pronation (foot rolls in), supination (foot rolls out), flat feet, plantar fasciitis (heel pain), and to correct misalignment elsewhere in the body (e.g. the knees).
