Kate trained at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine, one of the leading acupuncture institutions in the UK. She graduated in 2010 with a BSc (Hons) degree in acupuncture.
Kate uses traditional acupuncture to help people achieve better physical health and mental-emotional wellbeing. She does this by combining the use of two styles – Five Element Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine ‘TCM’ – both have their strengths depending on the individual needs of the patient. Kate particularly values the simplicity of Five Element Acupuncture to strengthen emotion or spirit of a patient which can give them a stronger resolve to finding balance in their life. She gives diet and lifestyle advice if required and uses other TCM techniques including moxibustion and tuina massage.
After completing a degree in business studies she had a career in marketing in London. Subsequently she moved to France and renovated a property for a few years before training as an acupuncturist having experienced the benefits of treatment on her own health.
Kate is a full member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC). This means that she adheres to strict safety standards and professional conduct guidelines. She lives with her husband and their two boys.
