Alexandra graduated as a Chartered Physiotherapist in 2014 with a distinction in her MSc Pre-registration degree from Leeds Metropolitan University.
She completed her core physiotherapy rotations at Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust and Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, covering respiratory, orthopaedic, neurological and medical specialties. Following this she specialised as a Band 6 Physiotherapist in orthopaedics, working on the inpatient wards at Sheffield Teaching Hospital’s Major Trauma Centre. She then moved to Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS Foundation Trust where she worked as a Band 6 musculoskeletal outpatients Physiotherapist, treating a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions and injuries.
Alexandra then moved to the Cotswolds, and after working for Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust on their Band 6 musculoskeletal rotations, she decided to make the move into private practice.
Alexandra feels that her experiences to date give her a good breadth of knowledge covering a wide range of specialties, and this enables her to have a holistic approach to treating musculoskeletal conditions in the outpatient setting.
Prior to qualifying as a Physiotherapist, Alexandra gained a First Class Honours Degree in Human Biology from the University of St Andrews, graduating in 2011.
Outside of physiotherapy, Alexandra has a very keen interest in tennis and competes in local tennis leagues in both women’s and mixed doubles. She also enjoys horse-riding, dancing and walking in the countryside with her dog.
