Kate qualified from Coventry University in 1999. After working in the NHS for 3 years, she specialised in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and sports injuries treating many elite runners, triathletes, eventers and dressage riders and providing physiotherapy cover to the local rugby team.

Kate completed a Masters in Sports Physiotherapy from Cardiff University in May 2011 and was awarded silver accreditation from The Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Sports and Exercise Medicine (ACPSEM) in January 2014.

She is registered with The AACP and is qualified to practise acupuncture for pain relief.

Kate was instrumental in the development of Oaksey House, The Injured Jockeys Rehabilitation centre which opened in April 2009 and where she worked until July 2016. Kate is also a member of The Jockeys Injury Management Team covering a number of racecourses across the Midlands providing on course physiotherapy care to professional and amateur jockeys.

The remainder of her time, Kate works in Private Practice splitting this between The Breakspeare Clinic and Stow Physio at Bourton. Kate has a wealth of experience in treating sporting injuries both due to trauma and chronic injuries. Kate has a special interest in complex pain and the implications associated with it.

Outside of physiotherapy, Kate is a keen competitive runner competing in a mixture of 10km and half marathon races.

The rest of the time is spent running around after her 2 children.
