Ruari Scott  BSc (Hons) Ost
Registered Osteopath
Born and bred in the Wychwoods in Oxfordshire, Ruari represents the third generation of Scott’s to provide a form of medical care in Milton under Wychwood.

Ruari graduated from the British School of Osteopathy in 2003 with a First Class honours degree. He worked as an Osteopath in Edinburgh, where he also worked as a consultant Physical medical expert for BP. He returned to the south eight years ago when he joined the Breakspeare Clinic.

Throughout these years, Ruari has always been keen on teaching, and worked for 5 years as a senior medical lecturer for the College of Naturopathic Medicine in Edinburgh, and more recently in Birmingham.

He was a guest lecturer in the Complementary Therapies at Edinburgh University, and was an Osteopathic lecturer and tutor on the Master’s degree course at Oxford Brookes University until the course closed down.

He has a particular interest in occupational health ergonomics. He is also interested in forging ever stronger links between Osteopathy and orthodox medical practice and in working in close collaboration with many GPs and physiotherapists in Oxfordshire.
